First off…Loot Points and Skill Points are not the same thing.
Loot points are collected doing the Rackets and can be used to trade for Skill points.
Skill points are then added on your Profile page.
It is the Skill points on your Profile page that you have added to attack/defense that must equal 5 million.
Only trade Loot Points for Skill Points when you have 5 million skill points on the stat (defense/attack) that you want to increase (or can get well beyond 5 million with the trade up by adding the new skills to it).
Until you have or can get past 5 million Skill Points on either stat…. you buy Loot Points.
After you have 5 million Skill Points on the stat you are wanting to increase, you buy Loot Points and trade them for Skill Points.
You can trade Skill Points for Loot Points on the “Fence Stolen Goods” racket. This allows you to fix your mistake if you trade to early and your Max Attack/Defense goes down. This can be used to adjust/abuse your skill point allocation, as well…. but…only twice.
Reason: If you were to make a mistake trading Loot Points to Skill Points you can reverse
it. This is limited to 2 times only or you could re-allocate attack and defense at will,
constantly changing. It is designed to allow you to fix a mistake, but can be taken advantage
of, as all can take this advantage it should even out.
Never trade Loot Points to Skill Points on the “Run a Protection Racket” or “Run an army of Newspaper Sluggers” racket unless you can surpass 5 million Skill Points. Then and only then you should trade (convert) Loot Points to Skill Points and add them to the stat (attack or defense, depending on the racket) and you will be stronger.
Conclusion: Loot Points are more valuable than Skill Points until you have more than 5 million Skill Points on attack or defense.
After 5 million Skill Points have been added to attack or defense, the Skill Points for that stat counts for x3 for strength. Only then are Skill Points worth more than Loot Points.
IF you honestly make a mistake beyond the 2 chances…. message Craig and he will fix it and give you 2 more chances on “Fence Stolen Goods” ------as long as he does not suspect you are playing him.
